JBL has asked for a global social campaign to support and promote the launch of its new line of portable products - the Clip+ and Charge 2+, both water-resistant portable speakers. The #Summerproof campaign was created to insert a bit of fun and humor while showcasing portability and the speaker’s water resistant feature. Drawing on pop culture, the portables were personified within cult summer movies such as Blue Lagoon, Splash, Wet Hot American Summer, Hot Tub Time Machine, and Jaws. While the campaign is ongoing, to date it has logged 3000+ likes across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
