Nissan Formula-E
The future of racing is here
Nissan electrified Brooklyn to close out its debut season in Formula E, hosting CONVERGE, a day-long conference about the intersection of art, tech and design. In partnership with Outpost, we kicked off the weekend with expert-led panels on the future of the automotive landscape and inspiring technological art forms. This included "Aqueous" by Jen Lewin, an interactive landscape of meandering pathways of light that encouraged collaborative play lit up the courtyard. And 'Envelop Sound" by Christopher Willits allowed guests to explore the connective power of music through spatial sound. The artist Marpi provided a motion reactive installation that guests could interact with. The night wrapped with the band Chvrches taking the stage for a surprise performance.

The 'Future of Racing' showcased EV leadership with the world’s best-selling Nissan LEAF among the tech-packed Formula-E car and LEAF RC Nismo. Guests could experience Formula-E for themselves in a VR experience and try out Nissan's e-pedal technology. And we decked out the borough with OOH billboards that made passersby feel as if they were in the cockpit.
