Studies show that roughly 70% of people stop discovering new music by the age of 33. The Nissan KICKS is here to change that.

With its built in BOSE headrest, music is a standout element in the the Nissan KICKS. It's technology pushes the boundaries of the in-vehicle music experience, encouraging listening and discovery. We cultivated this passion by partnering with Spotify to create an experience that analyzes a users current profile to determine their “Fresh Score” and then delivers a hyper-focused playlist and visualizer with only the newest releases. We sought algorithms often ignored, to create a score based not on the most popular artists, but those who were emerging at the most rapid rate. By doing so, we  flexed the boundaries of the Spotify platform to create the ultimate cutting-edge playlist, tapping into an innate sense of peer competition, and encouraging new discovery.
